"WHAT IS MY FAULT? | FRAGMENT OF TOMORROW - THE JOURNEY WITHIN | KOHINOOR JEHA | JIVAN PRAYAS
Update: 2024-12-14
Description
Welcome back to Kohinoor Jeha. In this episode, I take you behind the creation of one of my most impactful songs, What Is My Fault If I Was Born in the Middle East. Written on December 12, 2020, this song reflects the harsh realities faced by children in war-torn regions, questioning the cruelty of their circumstances, it isn't released yet but it was read the story by some Italian people and even in Bishop's Stortford and they got emotional by reading the project and back on January 2024 it was created as song and people appreciate, I ever told that I will bring this song and I might made as part of "SEASONS OF HARSIMRAN (Chapter One)" but I wanted to share it with a story. Finally I decided to release it as a RAW version that was made and even as part of "SKETCHED DREAMS RAW" THE UPCOMING COLLECTION THAT WILL BE RELEASED IN ALL PLATFORM BETWEEN THE END OF YEAR AND NEW YEAR AS A RAW SONGS, that I made but never released but it doesn't mean that are excluded, they will be. Every project has a story and every story has a soul, every project isn't just a project but something that comes from the heart to you, like the upcoming book as well. In this episode I talk about this project that changed everything, like the first writting in first person to tell you and also to tell you in another way as well, I express my projects also as singing or rap but I'm not a singer or rapper, I love singing and doing rap but I'm a great writer.
I'm bringing experimental project like "T.H.I.S. CHRISTMAS" where I talk about the 21st century and the world divided, a message of humanity, I mentioned the Sikh Warrior, CHAAR SAHIBZAADE as well and their message for today, the sacrifice and to remember today as well there are silence war.
This song and story is also connected with my Children’s Day podcast episode, which delved into the struggles of children in conflict zones like Afghanistan, Palestine, and other underprivileged areas. That episode explored themes of limited access to education, the impact of war, and the role of propaganda in shaping their futures. It was a call to action—not just to feel sympathy, but to inspire change.
Together, these episodes form a powerful crossover that underscores the priorities of my work: amplifying children’s voices, shedding light on their realities, and advocating for their rights. Whether it’s through music, storytelling, or podcasts, I aim to inspire reflection and action.
Important Note:
I’m not a singer or rapper, but I am a great writer. Writing has always been my strength and the way I bring my thoughts to life. This podcast, my songs, and my stories are all extensions of my passion for creating meaningful narratives.
As I introduce my Sketched Dreams Raw collection, a series of raw, unfiltered creations, and share plans for an upcoming productive year, I invite you to revisit the Children’s Day episode to dive deeper into the stories and struggles that inspire this work.
